  • Q:

We are trying to order a Jr goggle for a -1.5 "size". It says on description -1.5 is available, but when we try to select it on drop down menu, it isn't. Help!

      A:

Dear Jo: We apologize for the confusion, but we are currently sold out of the -1.5 diopter. In mid to late January 2015, we will have more inventory in the -1.5 diopter, but it will be available in a new style #7500602. If you need this item now, please visit our store locator to find a retailer near you or search for this style online at other Speedo authorized retailers.

  • Q:

My child has a different diopter in in eye. Can I order a pair with two different diopters OR will it work to order a pair in each diopter and then I re-assemble them to make 2 pairs so that the right side of each pair will be 1.5 and the left side 3.0? Are the lenses the same shape for this to work?

      A:

Dear Sharkmom: We do not offer custom goggles at this time, and our optical goggles are offered with one diopter per goggle. However, the lenses can be swapped off the nose bridge and head strap, so in theory you could order a range of diopters and then just mix & match since lenses for Optical are not specific to right or left. Hope this helps!

  • Q:

What makes this model specifically for kids, as opposed to the adult version? Narrower nose bridge? Shorter head straps? My son is 11 with a round head-- how can I know how to choose child or adult?

      A:

Lenses are smaller, as well as nose bridge and headstrap. Some children with larger heads wear adult sized goggles. Most children start wearing adult sized goggles at age 14; some are exception to that rule.
We recommend fit-testing to find what works best.

  • Q:

Would you recommend jr or adult size for a 13 year old

      A:

Speedo Jr. Goggles are designed for kids ages 6-14. However, the 13 year old may fit into adult size goggles; we recommend trying them both on to find their best fit.

  • Q:

My daughter has presription glasses. How do I know what "size" to order on these goggles?
Asked on 3/17/2014 by Kelly from Oklahoma

      A:

These optical goggles come with negative diopters (for nearsightedness), which will determine what ‘size’ you need. Please note the higher the number, the stronger the prescription.
