I prefer boy-short swim bottoms when playing sand volleyball, snorkeling, and surfing. Nothing annoys me more than to have my swim bottoms ride up. Not only do these bottoms give me great coverage so I'm not flashing my behind; the silicone edging does a great job of preventing ride up! I do wish they had a small zipper pouch tucked in somewhere so I could have a place for my room key, swipe card, etc. Be sure you order based upon the Size Chart and not your normal clothing size! I usually wear a small (6), but ordered this in a large. It fits great!
