I wear about a 7-3/8 hat and this hat fits me perfectly. I bought three of these babies for going to theme parks and water parks. The brim is 5 inches all the way around and has a very good heavy duty double seam. There is an inner headband of great quality which helps the hat fit snuggly. The chin strap cord is softer than many other hats I have tried with chin straps. This hat is a steal for any price under $30.00! Compares to hats in the over $30.00 price range, EASILY.
