I swim masters and this fin is great for kick sets. They work and strengthen your kick. I have been using a long fin and found that I was not getting the leg strength in my kick I was looking for. Now, I use my long fins for specially designed speed sets and these fins for strength kick training. I do not use fins in normal swim workout sets. Yes, they are heavy, but I enjoy having to work a little harder.

These are functional fins and helped during my workout. I'm a former swimmer (30 years ago) just getting back into the pool. Purchased fins for added stability until I get my stroke back. Looking for small fins for exercise purposes that would be fairly light. Turns out that these are very heavy, even more so than the 'big' fins I used in my youth. Not sure I would purchase again.

These fins are great! Since they run a little large it gave me a little irritation but no blister. These fins are great for training but the do not give you as much propulsion as a long blade fin.

        Comments about SPEEDO Biofuse Fins:

I read the other reviews after I purchased the fins. Despite other reviewers complaining how heavy the fins are, which I will admit they are heavier than other fins I have used, the fins help me swim even faster. I have been for the past 15 years and I love these fins. I even emailed a swimmer friend and encouraged her to buy herself a pair. I think the weight of the fins will lead to stronger, more toned legs, and I will never complain about sculpted legs! Buy these fins if you want to swim faster and you grew up on a swim team like me.

          Comments about SPEEDO Biofuse Fins:

I've seen reviews on how this fin isn't that great but it isn't true! I've had these fins for about 4-5 years (probably 4) and they have worked beautifully for me. It works my thighs during practice. I do notice however that my fins are sized differently- they are 7-8(m) and in dark green. It may be that mine are an older model but my opinion of these fins a re the same. These by far are my favorite fins, much better than zoomers in my opinion

Looking to replace my Optimus Fins. These were far heavier and felt changed my kicking style for the worse. Managed to get a pair of Optimus elsewhere (Speedo seemed to have discontinued a great set of fins!)

              Comments about SPEEDO Biofuse Fins:

I wear a women's size 8. Their sizes for women for Small - 6.5 to 7.5 OR Medium 8.5 to 9.5 are extremely frustrating. I have to buy a fin that is too small for my foot, or too big for my foot, which will ultimately cause blisters. I would love to try this fin, but don't want to make the monetary commitment until I can believe, at least remotely, that I won't have to return it for fit reasons. I hope they work on this issue.

                Comments about SPEEDO Biofuse Fins:

For a first time user of swim fins I admit to not being ready for the adjustment in my swim the fins provided. But, the fins were heavier and longer than other females in the pool were wearing. I also vary my strokes a lot and the fins were stressful. I'm sure the fins are fine for certain swimmers; maybe they are designed to be more suitable for men. I returned the product.
