          Comments about SPEEDO PowerPLUS Kneeskin:

Just tried this first time today. It was a little hard to get on, but fine once I did. The straps are weird. It's hard to see in the picture, but the ones that go over your shoulders are flat, simple elastic. I don't know why they are not lycra/spandex like the rest of the suit. I certainly hope they don't wear out sooner than the suit. The great thing about the suit is that it appears to make me faster. My average on 100 free dropped by several seconds and I haven't been training. The bummer is that it's not terribly flattering. I think different colors or designs or possibly stitching could make it look nicer. I just want a suit I can swim in and not bare my thighs to the world, and this does the job. But I'd rather have more color options - and normal straps.

          Comments about SPEEDO PowerPLUS Kneeskin:

I purchased this product to use for a charity swim. It fits great and is very comfortable. My only suggestion is to put a better quality shoulder strap on the suit rather than plain elastic. The price is right and with improvements to the shoulder straps, it will be up to par with the quality we expect from Speedo. I would even pay a little more for better straps.

              Comments about SPEEDO PowerPLUS Kneeskin:

I am a 5 day-a-week lap swimmer. I rotate 2 suits. Usually I buy Speedo Learn to Swim Super Pro Back. I like that style because it is comfortable and fits great. Nothing rubs or interferes with swimming. Have never had any problems with that style except. like all suits, it gets baggy, thin and faded too quickly.

At 54, however, I would like a little more modesty. Nobody wants to see my cellulite - not even me. So I was happy to see the new PowerPlus Kneeskin. Unfortunately it has not worked out so well.

On the plus side, it is true to size and does fit exactly like the other Speedo suit I'm used to buying. BUT

              - The straps are just wide elastic. If they stretch out, which they will, the straps are going to fall down.

              - There are 2 raised seams under the arms. I didn't feel it while I was swimming but they rubbed the skin raw. This was super-annoying at work afterward because I could feel it every time my blouse moved against those two spots. I now have to wear bandaids over them to wear the suit. I looked at my old normal Speedo and these seams are not present. The thing that kills me is that they are not even necessary seams. They are just there to connect the multiple fabric colors. So now, since I've worn it, I'm stuck with a $100 suit I have to put on bandaids to use.

              - Something else to consider that is not the suit's fault: you can't make a quick pit stop. The whole suit has to come down.
