I know I'm overweight so I need a larger size. The more conventional suits (noncompetative) didnt' provide the comfort and ease of movement that I wanted. I was athletic and still have that mind set but due to health problems I have gained weight. I don't just splash around in the water. I SWIM. I think there are others like me who no longer have the physic of a young athlete but want the equipment we were used to using before. I'm happier squeezing into a too small competative suit than dealing with the obstruction to ease of movement in more conventional suits. It takes me a while but I swim a mile or two.

I had to return it due to small chest and squishing. I loved the suit, but not every swimmer is built like a strand of spaghetti. I'm not sure if ordering a size or two up will help...then it will be long; not a bad idea more coverage for all kinds of swimming: pool flip turns or ocean waves smacking you or even for less burning in sun.
I bring my aquablade to most of my swim meets, exept champs (I use my LZR for those). I have been using this type of suit for competitions since I was 10, and every time it has been amazing! :) I reccomend this as a good suit to get as an "introductory" racing suit if you are young and pretty fast. But you should only use it for racing and warm up with a different suit, because with some of my previous ones, they wore out faster. But other than that, Fabulous!! ;)
I am a "pretty good" swimmer who just bought the new LZR for sectionals. I used this suit for meets like the Junior Olympics and average "unimportant" meets. The suit is kinda thin, and doesn't rip that easy. I think it is a great suit for age-group competitions, and a good "first fastskin" since it is not super-expensive. I dropped a lot of time the first few times I used this suit. It lasts for about a seasons worth of meets. When you first try it on, it feels kinda tight, but then stretches in the water. I thought that it was a little loose in the chest and butt, and too short going the other way. But I still thought it was a very good suit, especially for "lesser" meets ! :-)

Comments about SPEEDO Aquablade® Recordbreaker:
My high school team uses this suit as our team suit which is how I found out about it. It will be snug and not really keep any secrets. However, it is great for races. :) It is thin so if you're cold, it'll shine through. My suit got see-through on the chest after one season but I had worn it to practices some. So overall, it's a good suit.

This is an excellent suit for racing. I love how you get a fast racing suit for not too expensive. The suit is really smooth and you can tell that it will make a difference while swimming. I got a size 28 because that is what I normally get. I was actually surprised at how comfortable it was on. It was easier to get on than my other racing suit, (size 28 Speedo Endurance Racerback) but you have to be careful as to not rip any of the seams when you are putting it on. I recommended this suit to all my friends to wear at a meet that isn't a Championship. At a Championship, you should wear your FS Pro or LZR Racer. Overall, the Aquablade is a good suit to have and will come in handy.

Comments about SPEEDO Aquablade® Recordbreaker:
Wonderful suit! Great for competitive swimming. I would recommend getting this suit one to two sizes smaller than your regular practice suit. Doesn't rade or stretch out easily.
I wore this suit for the first time in a one mile ocean race, not knowing how it would work out. I was pleasamtly surprised. Not only was the fit good, but the high neck kept out the jelly fish and other flotsom that you encounter in the ocean.
