I got this swimming cap for my eight year old daughter because she has been taking swimming lessons all summer and was in the pool every day (she's getting ready for swim team) and all the chlorine was drying her ultra fine hair out and making it rough and nasty, even though I was using conditioner on her hair everyday. Since we got this cap, her hair has stayed much healthier, plus she looks adorable in it :) and it's easy to spot her during her lessons. I think it gives her some extra confidence too wearing the "same gear as the Olympians do" as she put it.
