I had bought a pair of gloves a couple of years ago that I loved...different style/grip, etc. But, Speedo no longer has them. Thought I'd try these, but disappointed in feel and fit of these. Wish they'd have the "old" style again !

This is my second pair in 20 months. I think that proves they are very well made. I swim every day in the summer with them and as well, all year long I go to wateraerobics three (3) times per week. They go through a total beating!! I had no second thoughts about getting another of the same when the time came. They have fantastic resistance. I am known at the Club for my bright yellow gloves - I would not trade them for anything.

These are the best fitness gloves on the market today. Good resistance, excellent construction, and great durability. I am an aquatic fitness trainer and I use them all the time in my classes. In the past, I have used other brands, but nothing compares to the Speedos.

i do moderate swim work out 4 to 5 days per week as physical therapy for quad. by-pass surgery. it allows me to have a great workout without harm.

I use mine everytime we go swimming wether at community swims or lakes. I only had to buy one pair. They are excellent. They help me swim faster and get a good work out at the same time. My son wants a pair. You can wash them in the washing machine. I love them! Never had any problems with them. Perfect for young and older.

My wife gave these gloves to me for Christmas and after about a month of use the stitching unravelled. By mid spring the rubber in the palms began to tear. Now, summers end, the velcro loosens up. I am going to send them back so speedo can see the errors in design and correct them for the next product release. I'll buy the fixed version. I really like using them for training, but the quality lacks.

I ordered this product after having knee-replacement surgery and beginning water aerobics.I had rotary-cuff surgery sereval years ago and knew that while strengthing my knee I could also work on my arms, back and shoulders. These gloves are great for resistance work-outs. Everyone in the class has asked me about them and I let them try them to see how great they are. I also ordered the weights but find these work for me much better. I have not had any problem with the velcro thus-far and I started using them in December 2010.

I've had this product for 3 weeks, swim or water aerobics 3x a week. I always rinse my gear after the pool. The padding material on the palms, esp at the tips, are worn out--literally a hole developing. Also the sewing is unraveling which means the seams are splitting. I owned a previous pair that did the same thing, later found the Hydro Resist style that lasted for 2 years! I came back to the site to reorder only to find it not available--please don't discontinue the Hydro Resist style. It's durable in chlorine pool and gives a great workout.

Well-made gloves that provide good resistance, with one big exception: the Velcro fasteners are cheap and won't stay fastened. I've only had these gloves 2 weeks, so it's not like they've been heavily used for months, but after just 3 minutes in the water, the straps come undone and the gloves start to loosen, meaning I have to stop and refasten them, only to do it again every few minutes throughout my class. A classmate has the same pair, and is not having trouble, so maybe it's just mine, but that doesn't say much for quality control. No matter how hard I press the fasteners together before I enter the water, they're coming apart a few minutes later. ANNOYING! High quality Velcro would bump these up to a 5-star rating.
