If you don't read the dimensions before you purchase this towel you will laugh when you open the package. This is a very small towel. Yes, it is absorbent. I am a little disappointed about the fact when this towel dries it gets stiff. I was not expecting that. Spend a little extra on a better pair of goggles and take a traditional cotton towel to dry off with rather than purchase this towel.....

I really enjoy using it for drying my hair. Make sure after every use, you put it under cold water and rinse to the point where your sport towel is slightly damp.
