For the people who don't read the description (goggles REQUIRE assembly) DON'T buy them, but also, don't bash them either. Please give an accurate review of the product, like, they fit like a glove or they leaked...etc! By far the best goggles for racing, and you can't beat the price. Fully customizable to fit each swimmers face. The assembly part is the reason that these goggles are great. You literally can adjust every area so that you can achieve a PERFECT fit. These are still the only goggles that I will use. Been competing since I was 10, and now I coach. They do have a fit that you need to get used to. Hope that this review clears up some of the negative ones out there.

Description wasn't accurate and neither were the instructions. I watched a video on assembling the goggles and it was different than reality. I didn't realize that assembly meant from the ground up. I needed help getting them assembled from someone that has owned a pair and loves them for racing. I don't race. I use them in the pool for laps. I do like them but am still making adjustments. I am not sure that I would order again. I realize I am probably older than the typical buyer. Instructions should be accurate and easy to follow
I have been using these for a while and they work well. I have morning swims and evenings daily - they feel like i have nothing on once you get the right fitting, and i really like the classic look.

I have used this style of goggle for approximately 25+years, since my days as an age-group swimmer. As long as you fit the double-strap and nose-piece correctly, these won't leak. One doesn't need to worry about foam or rubber gaskets tearing/leaking/etc. Great goggle!

These goggles were the worst purchase ever. I knew they needed assembly but had NO idea it would take an engineering degree. The entire swim team and coaches could not get the goggles together. The instructions are not easy to follow. MORE information on the item description would be helpful. I saw that the merchant commented on another review: "Merchant response: Swedish goggles are a classic and popular type of swimming goggles worn by many competitive swimmers. They are the most popular goggle among elite swimmers. Swedish goggles are notable for a lack of a gasket or seal around the eye cup, as found on most other goggles. Much of the popularity of Swedish goggles is due to their customizable fit. Please Note: The goggles are sold unassembled and require complete user assembly, which results in a custom fit. Proper assembly generally requires some skill and practice, as well as precision. Before assembly, the inside edges of the lenses are often filed down to remove any sharp edges and thus improve comfort." MAYBE THIS SHOULD BE THE ITEM DESCRIPTION. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL SWIMMER AND HAVE USED THESE BEFORE.
My daughter has had a hard time find just the right goggles, the only problem was there were no real directions. When I called Speedo to ask what to do with all of the pieces, they could only direct me to a youtube video.
I love this type of goggles you have to assemble them for your fit. The only con is thet the rubber that they come with is not that resistant, I just bought them and it broke...
Swedish goggles have no gasket to face, so your seal is effective with your own careful fit adjustment. You get used to it. Because they are small, the field of vision is also small. Very little peripheral. I personally prefer swedish goggles, and this price for two pair was great.
These are the best goggles ever! Speedo has perfectly adapted the traditional Swedish goggles that have have been used by professionals for decades. *Disclaimer* These goggles come UNASSEMBLED. If you take the time (5 minutes) to assemble them, you will have the best fit possible and will NEVER go back to your other goggles!
I remember wearing the original Swedish goggles when I was on the High School swim team, throughout College swimming, and now I wear them as a professional. Speedo has done the impossible, in making the best, even better. I will never wear any other goggles. Being that you have to assemble them yourself, is what makes them "yours". They are custom. Yes it takes time in figuring out the perfect way of assembling them, but that's what makes them for advanced swimmers that know what they are doing. If you are looking for a goggle to go play and splash in the pool during the summer, these are NOT the goggles you want. These are for ADVANCED COMPETITION.
It is the best googles so that I bought it for the third time however it is always hard to fix it for use. There is no instruction on how to put together the two sides .....
I didnt know you had to assemble these...once you do there is basically no going back...the nose piece is a flimsy string that freys easily...ill never buy another pair of these.
