This suit is almost just-right for those of us who want to look good and be active. I love the flattering shirring across the midriff. Wish the cut of the legs was a little higher. Nice supportive, flattering fit overall. The switch-back is a nice idea, but where you tie the strap ends up being a big bulky bow or knot, which is very uncomfortable leaning back against a chair and looks funny bumping out when you put a shirt on over the suit. The teal is a rich grown-up tone - nice change for someone who almost always wears black. Overall, I'm in like - just not love - with this suit.

As I indicated above, the bra sizing was very weird because the rest of the suit fit me perfectly. I was really sad, too, because everything else about the suit was top-notch (except the top - ha), and I had purchased two in different colors to use in water aerobics and beach, etc.

This suit is a perfect fit if you use the measurement chart (order your largest measurement) and don't worry about your usual size or dress size. My measurements for waist and hip put me in a size 8, but my bust size was a 10. I ordered the 10 and it fits great, especially with the adjustable straps. I am a 32ddd and I feel supported and adequately covered. The River Teal is beautiful and I feel sure that it will hold up well over time.

As a 34DDD (and shrinking) I'd say this one rivals a sports bra for support during water aerobics. The picture would lead you to believe it provides more coverage of the bust than it actually does, though. The picture's probably accurate if you're a B or C cup, but any larger and you'll be showing a bit more skin. It passes the modesty test for me, but if I were much bigger I'd probably choose a different style. Based on other reviews I ordered a size larger than normal to accommodate the Core Control and I'm happy with the fit. As someone new to Speedos and not a swimmer, it would've helped to have a picture of the back of the suit because the term "Switch Back" didn't mean anything to me.

I tried this on in a store and I'm still deciding whether or not to purchase it. I am a plus-size runner who is swimming for cross-training. I wanted coverage, but also a flattering fit. The shirring is very flattering on my figure (size 16-18), and I think it may be good for casual swimming or hanging out at a pool, but I don't think it provides the coverage I wanted on top for my swimming workouts.

I purchased a size larger than my pants size to ensure proper fit figuring bathing suits are tight so it wouldn't fall off and it fits great! The shirred effect is slimming (I'm not petite!). Having the ability to change the straps guarantees no slipping which is great for actual swimming vs. sitting around. Fully supports my D's without any popping out or spilling over the sides. As a former life guard I am very happy that athletic bathing suits are now designed to be attractive and slimming while still allowing me to swim. [...]

Looks lovely. Cannot comment on the performance because, although I purchased the same size as other Speedos, I could not get this suit on. Combination of support and shirred seams mean less give. I don't think one size up would do the trick either. Might work better for a straighter figure but then the style doesn't lend itself to a younger, straighter shape.
